Biography

Matt was born in the great state of New York where he spent most of his life.  After turning 28, Matt packed up all his belongings and moved to Boston to attend the New England School of Photography.  There he studied Editorial and Fashion photography.  While studying, Matt worked as an assistant to photographer Shawn G. Henry.  Also while living in Boston, he worked with Sam Ogden, staff photographer at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where he got his first images published in major Boston newspapers and magazines. After living in Boston for two years Matt moved to Jacksonville, FL for a short period and then relocated back to New York.

Matt uses a cinematic approach to creating his images due in part to his love of cinema and how much fun he has creating a story.  He is a photographer who specializes in Editorial portraiture, fashion and advertising photography.  When he’s not shooting, you can find him traveling around with his dog, Oscar Wilde or skateboarding
